Jackie S. Gardner, Registered Dental Hygienist
As our dental hygienist, Jackie provides patients with routine preventive dental care and therapeutic treatments at all levels of periodontal disease. She’s been in the field for over 23 years and with Dr. Wills since 2005. With her bachelor of science in dental hygiene and certification in nitrous oxide administration, Jackie loves working in a small practice that allows her the time to provide individualized care to each patient. She says that she appreciates how much Dr. Wills focuses on the importance of family, and they both share the same passion for what they do and oral health education. Jackie is married to her husband Wally, and they have two boys ages 8 and 13. Her hobbies include running, fitness, cooking, and her family.
Brandie Cox, Patient Care Coordinator
When you call our Memphis dental office, the voice you’ll probably hear is Brandie’s. She makes appointments for patients and does all of our billing and insurance collections. As a certified dental assistant with certifications in radiology, chairside assisting, and infection control, Brandie is a jack of all trades around the office. Brandie loves to be of service, and she’s volunteered for two years in a row with the Give Back a Smile program through Zoom! Whitening. Proceeds from the program were donated to women who were victims of domestic violence, helping them to fix their smiles. She’s also worked with a mobile dental company that travels to nursing homes. She loves that everyone in Dr. Wills’ office works as a team and the patients feel like part of her family. Her cooperative attitude and personable nature make her a great fit in the office. She is currently engaged, so wedding planning takes up a huge chunk of her time when she’s not in the office. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her Doberman Eli and going to zumba.
Tameka Patterson, Registered Dental Assistant
Tameka assists Dr. Wills with all chairside procedures, charting and treatment planning, and taking radiographs. She’s been in the dental profession for over 12 years, spending most of that time with J. Whitley Wills, DDS. She has a bachelor of arts in communication, and she’s certified in coronal polishing, nitrous oxide, CPR, and sealant placement. Her favorite thing about working in Dr. Wills’ dental office? She loves the one-on-one time she gets to spend with each patient providing quality dental care and educating patients about their dental health. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and exercising.
